Former Mizzou football players will be playing in the XFL in less than two weeks after the league cut down its rosters Monday morning.
The eight teams trimmed their rosters from 70-plus players to the league limit of 52. Six of the 416 players in the XFL now are former Mizzou Tigers. They are Marcell Frazier, Jacquies Smith, L’Damian Washington, Marcus Lucas, Kony Ealy and Walter Palmore.
There are two players on each of the three teams that has former Tigers.
The Seattle Dragons, St. Louis Battlehawks and Houston Roughnecks each has a pair of Tigers.
