COLUMBIA, MO. • The early signing period for college football prospects begins Wednesday, and Missouri expects to collect national letters of intent from most of its committed recruits.
The first signee the Tigers announced was one of their most recent additions, offensive lineman Adam Griffin, a 6-5, 305-pound tackle from Chatsworth, Ga. Griffin initially committed to Georgia but has recovered from multiple ACL injuries that wiped out chunks of his high school career.
Aidan Harrison (6-2, 180) from New Lothrop, Mich., was the first player to commit to Mizzou's 2019 class. He's being listed as a nickelback, meaning he's a hybrid defensive back/outside linebacker in Mizzou's defensive system.
