Mizzou Soccer (1-1) was unable to slay Goliath on Sunday night, losing to the No. 10 Memphis Tigers (2-0) 2-0 on its home turf at Audrey J. Walton Stadium. Memphis did the entirety of its damage in the second half, scoring two goals while outshooting Mizzou 5-3 in the final 45.

Momo Nakao feathered a pass through the defense to find Ai Kitagawa all by herself with plenty of time to chip it over goalkeeper Bella Hollenbach.
