It’s go time for Missouri softball.
The Tigers (31-10, 5-7 Southeastern Conference) rank ninth in the SEC following a tumultuous start to league play, sending them into a tumble down the national rankings. MU, after peaking near the top 10, slots in between No. 14-18, depending on the poll, including a No. 15 placement in the ESPN/USA Softball poll.
Even with the up-and-down start to conference play thus far, Mizzou’s aspirations at an 18th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance seem more like a reality than a dream. However, the Tigers’ goal of hosting a regional in Columbia is up in the air.
