It was a missed opportunity for the Missouri Tigers to improve their seeding in a 61-53 loss to Texas on Tuesday night, but a Quad 1 defeat on the road doesn’t really hurt them at all either.
Up next on Saturday is yet another Quad 1 opportunity for Mizzou as they host No. 16 Ole Miss to start a stretch of four consecutive games against ranked opponents. Missouri’s resume is still in good shape, but they will need to defend their home court as they can’t afford to let one loss turn into two heading into their toughest four game stretch of the season.
