Missouri point guard Terrence Phillips was suspended from the basketball team in late-January; quickly thereafter, it was revealed that he was under a Title IX investigation for misconduct.
On Tuesday, Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported what we were already beginning to suspect: Phillips will no longer be with the team.
Junior point guard Terrence Phillips is no longer a member of the Missouri basketball program, the team confirmed Tuesday.
Last month, Phillips was suspended indefinitely when the school’s Title IX office launched an investigation against the junior guard after receiving complaints from at least four women, alleging physical abuse, stalking and nonconsensual recording of a sexual encounter.
