Without knowing the exact assignments for recruiting efforts by the assistant coaches, it’s hard to allocate credit to one guy over the other, especially when it seems high school recruiting is truly a joint effort between the guy who found the player, the position coach, and the head coach.
But what I do know is that Missouri’s recruiting efforts in Florida prior to 2022 were lukewarm at best and awful at worst. And once wide receivers coach Jacob Peeler was added to the staff, Mizzou’s Florida recruiting absolutely took off and elite-level talent started getting added to Peeler’s position group.
