After the recovery sprint that was last weekend’s NCAA Tournament regional — battling back from a first-game defeat to win four straight elimination games and advance — the No. 7 Tigers woke up Monday morning with one thing on their minds: the normal, casual concept of recovery.
“We were extremely tired and extremely dehydrated — probably unhealthy how dehydrated we were,” coach Larissa Anderson said.
Mizzou kept things light Monday and Tuesday before resetting in preparation for this weekend’s super regional series against No. 10 Duke. The Blue Devils, who also won their home regional, visit Columbia for a best-of-three series.
