Faced with elimination, the Tigers are forced into must-win mode, needing two victories today just to fight for a chance to extend their season through the weekend. To keep this season, which has by and large been a huge success, going for their seniors and the 3,347 fans who packed the stands of Mizzou Softball Stadium on a gorgeous Friday afternoon to see their favorite team all but disappear offensively against a defensively dominant and aggressive Omaha team looking for their first win over a top-20 RPI team.
