Mizzou won their first game of the season on Thursday by blowing out a clearly overmatched Murray State team 51-0.
Mission accomplished, right?
Game one in the books? Check. A blowout win? Check. Nobody got injured? Check. Missouri checked all the boxes they needed to in week one. Sure things could have been a bit cleaner on some long passes from Brady Cook, but there are expectations the team be a bit buggy early in the season. It wasn’t perfect but you blew out an inferior opponent, and did what you were supposed to. It’s time to turn the page to Buffalo next week.
