Mizzou used a big second quarter and a stout defense to separate from an overmatched Buffalo team, and then squeeze the life out of the game en route to their second shutout win in as many games so far this season.
Maybe if you would have asked Mizzou fans 10 days ago how they’d feel after consecutive 51-0 and 38-0 wins to open the season, I’m sure they’d say they’d feel amazing. But ask any Mizzou fan (who’s watched each of the two games in totality) how they feel, and you’d probably get a different answer.
