COLUMBIA, MO. • Robin Pingeton’s sixth year as Missouri’s women’s basketball coach has been all about passing milestones. Earlier this season, the Tigers swept their nonconference games and matched the longest winning streak (13 games) in team history, last set in 1984-85. For the first time since 2006, the Tigers cracked the national rankings and won 20 games.
Next up, two more items on the to-do list: Mizzou seeks its first victory in the Southeastern Conference tournament in four tries and its first NCAA Tournament berth in 10 years.
Accomplishing the former should make the latter all that more possible.
