Missouri competed at Arkansas’ Tyson Invitational this weekend. Like the meet’s chicken nugget namesake, the Tigers were cooking. In honor of Valentine’s weekend, it’s time for another poetic meet recap. Because haikus and rhymes are to track and field what breaking program and personal records are to the Tigers.
Run:
Men’s 3,000m
On the Arkansas Tyson track that’s red,
Elijah Limo made his Missouri debut.
Drew Rogers ran the fastest 3,000m time in program history,
Becoming the first Tiger to break eight-minutes, too.
