COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri men’s basketball is about to find out how high its ceiling is.
The No. 22 Tigers, at 15-4 overall and 4-2 against Southeastern Conference opponents, are off to a strong start in conference play. They’re on track — nothing is secure at this point in the season, of course — to land a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Mizzou took care of business at home against teams it needed to beat: Louisiana State, Vanderbilt and Arkansas, all of which will likely finish in the bottom third of the league.
MU lost to Auburn, as expected — every team in the country that lacks a player named Cooper Flagg has met the same fate.
