The Missouri Tigers wrestling team’s streak of 37 straight dual victories came to an end Friday night in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The No. 4 Tigers were defeated by No. 5 Oklahoma State by a score of 23-9, two days shy of going two straight calendar years without a loss.
The dual featured several competitive matches, but Oklahoma State got off to a hot start, building up a 9-0 lead after winning the first three matches of the night.
Starting at 125 pounds, Oklahoma State’s 10th Eddie Kilmara defeated No. 10 Barlow McGhee 3-2. Then, unranked OSU sophomore Gary Wayne Harding upset Missouri junior Zach Synon by a score of 4-2.
