COLUMBIA, MO. • A.J. Ofodile and Barry Odom missed each other at Mizzou by three years, but their lives intersected in 2001, by day at Rock Bridge High School, by night at 304 Bourn Avenue on the west side of Columbia.
That’s where they shared a three-bedroom, 1,700-square foot brick house with its one-car garage and a sizeable backyard that overlooked Stadium Boulevard.
At Rock Bridge, Odom was the head football coach, Ofodile his offensive coordinator.
“We’d work all day, then get back to the house and he’d still want to talk ball,” Odom said this week.
