ATLANTA • Missouri coach Barry Odom and his three players are making their way through interviews at SEC Football Kickoff Media Days. Here are some news and notes from Odom’s session with local reporters in the team’s suite at the Omni Hotel:
• Since midway through the 2016 season Odom has been the primary defensive play-caller on game days, but Odom said Wednesday he’s relinquished those duties to defensive coordinator and secondary coach Ryan Walters. Odom promoted Walters to coordinator before the Tigers played Texas in the Texas Bowl last season.
