COLUMBIA, MO. • Former Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant made national headlines Tuesday when he announced plans to spend his final season at Missouri, but for Tigers coach Barry Odom it was old news.
Bryant told Odom and offensive coordinator Derek Dooley he planned to pick their team a week earlier when the coaches visited his home in South Carolina on Nov. 26.
“I was confident, but you never know until you get the final word, I guess,” Odom said after Saturday’s practice, MU’s third workout to prepare for its Dec. 31 game against Oklahoma State in the Liberty Bowl.
