Over in Champagne, Illinois seems content for one trope in particular: the heel turn. Or that’s what a report by The Athletic ($) at Big Ten Conference media day seems to indicate. Apparently, Illini fans like to remind anyone with a Twitter account that they’re owed a share of the Big Ten title after beating Michigan head-to-head last season but finishing behind the Wolverines in win percentage.
