AUBURN, Ala. -- In Auburn's seventh straight match against a ranked opponent, the Tigers beat No. 61 Missouri, 5-2 to improve to 16-4 (4-1) on the season.
"I am really proud of how our team conducted themselves today," said Auburn head coach Lauren Spencer. "Missouri tried to put us in situations to unnerve us from playing our best tennis, however we didn't take the bate. We stayed focused and came out with a strong win. I believe this is just another example of how battle tested and mentally tough our team is in hostile situations."
Pleun Burgmans and Alizee Micahud improved to 6-0 (5-0) on the season in doubles with a 6-3 win over Bea Machado Santos and Brianna Lashway in the No.
