No. 14 Mizzou men bounce back to breeze past South Carolina

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Caleb Grill returned to his usual shooting form, turnovers issues evaporated into the springtime thaw and No. 14 Missouri men's basketball cruised past South Carolina on Tuesday.

The Tigers beat the struggling Gamecocks 101-71 — the heavy home favorites leaving no doubts in securing a bounce-back victory.

Mizzou (21-7 overall, 10-5 Southeastern Conference) recovered from the weekend's mild letdown of a loss to Arkansas by correcting the weekend's turnover problems and demonstrating their superiority over the league basement-dwelling Gamecocks (11-17, 1-14).

Grill scored 22 points on 9-for-11 shooting, including four made 3-pointers. MU shot 63% from the field as a team, and six players finished in double figures.
