Eli Drinkwitz has been a big culture guy ever since he arrived in Columbia, Mo.
While previous coaches established a sense of loyalty to themselves, the program and the historical Mizzou “brand” Drinkwitz made it clear that he wanted to establish a new culture — a new way of thinking — around Mizzou Football.
Nearly five years in, and it’s not difficult to see how that culture has become quickly engrained in the wider community surrounding the program. Not only are performances high and expectations higher, there’s a sense of belief that the players carry in themselves and each other.
