COLUMBIA, MO. • Steve Bieser is Missouri’s new baseball coach, just the fourth man to have that job since 1937. The former head coach at Southeast Missouri State received a five-year contract with a base salary of $300,000, athletics director Mack Rhoades said Friday. That’s roughly a 44 percent raise from former coach Tim Jamieson’s salary.
Bieser and Rhoades met with the media on Friday to discuss the program, facility plans and more. Here are some takeaways from Friday’s press conference:
