Missouri Students Association vice presidential candidate Jonathan Segers called for UM System President Tim Wolfe’s resignation in a Facebook post Sunday afternoon.
“As a student at the University of Missouri-Columbia, we do not allow anyone that DOES NOT stand for RESPECT, RESPONSIBILIY (sic), DISCOVERY, and EXCELLENCE on OUR CAMPUS,” Segers wrote in his post. “You sir, showed neither of those values to my friends, colleagues, and fellow Tigers that day. So let (me) be the first to ask for your letter of resignation, because we do not tolerate such actions at OUR University.”
“I was shocked and appalled,” Segers said in an interview Sunday night.
