Not much football action to posit opinions on right now, so I’ll start this week’s scattershot thoughts on the NCAA Tournament since it starts up today, and our Tigers are thankfully involved.
My first thought is that it’s pretty rare when you feel your team got exactly the seed and the draw and the location they deserved. To me, the No. 6 seed playing in Wichita is perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that the alleged school to the West was handed the No. 7 seed in the same region and got shipped out to the East coast. Mizzou always seems to end up in the West bracket, but we are usually the ones getting shipped far away, so it’s great for our fans to be able to make a reasonable drive to this one.
