J.B. ForbesCOLUMBIA, Mo. — In the Missouri basketball team’s first major showdown of the young season, Dru Smith put up a historic stat line for the Tigers in last Tuesday’s loss at No. 21 Xavier, finishing with 22 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals. The junior point guard was the first Missouri player to fill up the box score with those kind of numbers since All-American Doug Smith did so in 1991, against Oklahoma.
