COLUMBIA, Mo. • Four days before he’s expected to be a first-round pick in the NFL draft, Missouri defensive end Shane Ray was arrested Monday morning on suspicion of possession of 35 grams or less of marijuana, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online arrest report. Ray, 21, was arrested at 6:07 a.m. in Cooper County also with a count of failing to drive in the right lane of a highway with two or more lanes.
More information was not immediately available. When reached Monday night, an officer with the Highway Patrol said she was compiling a list of media outlets to call back to provide further details.
