COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri freshman forward Michael Porter Jr. will not play in Monday's game against Wagner and is considered "day to day" while under evaluation from the team's medical staff, team spokesman Patrick Crawford confirmed at Mizzou Arena.

The Tigers (1-0) tip off against Wagner (1-0) at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.

The preseason All-American came out of Friday's opener against Iowa State after playing just one minute and 40 seconds because of what was initially called a hip injury. After the game Tigers coach Cuonzo Martin said Porter's leg was bothering him. Porter scored two points and grabbed two rebounds in his college debut.
