Mizzou's Lock earns first-team All-SEC honors; Beckner, O-line snubbed

COLUMBIA, MO. • For the first time in a decade Missouri has a first-team all-conference quarterback. After breaking the Southeastern Conference record for touchdown passes, Mizzou junior Drew Lock was named the league’s first-team quarterback on the Associated Press All-SEC team, as voted by a panel of reporters who cover the SEC.

Lock captured the triple crown for SEC quarterbacks during the regular season, leading the league in passing yards (3,695), passing touchdowns (43) and passer rating (169.4). In those categories, Lock ranks 11th, first and fourth nationally.

Lock is the first Mizzou quarterback to earn first-team all-conference honors since Chase Daniel was first-team All-Big 12 in 2007.
