Missouri senior guard Jordan Barnett was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated by Columbia police around 3 a.m. Saturday morning, MU police major Brian Weimer said. Barnett, the Tigers’ second-leading scorer, was stopped for a traffic violation and arrested at 3:26 a.m. on suspicion of DWI and failing to drive within a single lane.
The basketball program is aware Barnett was involved in an incident and declined comment, a team spokesman said.
Mizzou (20-12) was eliminated from the SEC tournament on Thursday and will learn Sunday its draw in the NCAA Tournament.
Barnett averages 13.
