Is there a professional wiffle ball league? It looks as if Missouri quarterback Drew Lock could be working on a fall-back plan in case those NFL dreams don’t work out.
Lock traded in football for wiffle ball, joining some kids for an event inside a middle school gym.
Lock participated with students during the annual field day at Grain Valley South Middle School. That’s just east of Kansas City and barely five miles from Lock’s own high school, Lee’s Summit (Mo.) High.
Photos of Lock in action – possibly demonstrating something other than textbook passing form – were posted to Twitter by the school’s assistant principal.
