Mizzou's Chism, Hazelton explode for season-best performances against Arkansas

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Keke Chism needed to ask for rock-picking advice after Missouri’s 50-48 win over Arkansas. He was walking across Faurot Field to participate in a senior day tradition that his fourth-year teammates are more familiar with: taking a commemorative souvenir from the rock ‘M’ in the north end zone.

“I was like, ‘I don’t want to grab a rock that’s too big,’” he joked.

Chism, unlike other seniors, had no part in the history between Saturday’s coaching staffs.

Much ado was made about Missouri’s first game against its former coach and current Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom being a war waged by players he recruited.
