COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri Tigers’ dwindling roster will be down another player for next week’s bowl game. And it’s a big one.
To no surprise, Missouri junior linebacker and team captain Nick Bolton announced Monday he’ll leave school to enter the 2021 NFL draft. He also won’t take part in next week’s Music City Bowl, against Iowa, he said on social media.
Bolton, most likely a first-team All-Southeastern Conference player for the second straight year when the postseason honors roll out this week, leads the Tigers (5-5) with 95 tackles and eight tackles for loss. He’s been widely projected as a first-round prospect in next year’s draft.
