Mizzou's Aijha Blackwell set to transfer after three prolific seasons

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Aijha Blackwell's future at Missouri seemed uncertain when she played limited minutes in the Southeastern Conference tournament, but now it’s official: Missouri’s leading scorer and rebounder announced Friday that she will enter the NCAA transfer portal with two years of eligibility remaining.

Blackwell joined freshmen Kiya Dorroh and Izzy Higginbottom and senior LaDazhia Williams as Missouri players to put their names in the portal from this past season's 18-win team. Higginbottom verbally committed to Arkansas State earlier this week.

“I would like to thank Mizzou Nation for the past 3 years,” Blackwell tweeted Friday.
