That’s the approach the University of Missouri wrestling squad is taking after losing a dual last weekend at Oklahoma State. The loss snapped a 37-match winning streak for the 9-1 Tigers, who are ranked fifth in the nation.
“Coach summed it up best right after the match when he said we were exposed,’’ junior J’den Cox said. “But then he added that we were exposed in January, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. This way, we have a chance to learn and grow and hopefully turn the loss into a positive.’’
Sophomore Willie Miklus agreed: “Nobody wants to lose, but sometimes losing can be a good thing as long as you learn from it.
