Kansas City’s last game was a blowout of epic proportions. Against Kansas Christian College, a small Christian university in Overland Park with a reported enrollment of 185, the Kangaroos won by a score of 121-37.
On Thursday, the Roos experienced almost the complete opposite. While their 85-42 domination at the hands of Mizzou wasn’t nearly as drastic as the one they handed to KCC, the game was still lopsided from start to finish.
The first quarter saw the Tigers get off to a fast start, as the home team quickly went up 7-0. Per usual, Mama Dembele was doing most of the facilitating, and Mizzou was capitalizing.
