Mizzou Volleyball continued its winning ways Wednesday night with a 3-1 victory (25-18, 25-12, 26-28, 25-17) over Georgia.
The Tigers have now won eight matches in a row, the team’s longest winning streak since the beginning of the 2019 season. The team also remains undefeated at home and has not lost at the Hearnes Center since last November.
“That’s our biggest thing is that we work hard,” outside hitter Mychael Vernon said, “No one comes in here and shows that we’re not working hard.”
Dawn Sullivan’s squad entered the match riding high after a landmark win over the defending national champs Texas, and that energy carried through to the start of set one as the team quickly took a 5-1 lead.
