After a bounce-back win against Kansas City early in the day, Mizzou put together an even stronger performance to sweep (25-12, 25-9, 25-13) UT Martin and go undefeated on Friday. The Tigers were in the driver’s seat from start to finish, with only two lead changes during the match (both in the third set).
You could tell from the start that MIzzou was facing a clearly, ahem, overmatched opponent. That helps explain why only five of the team’s seven regular starters were in the starting lineup for the match - Regan Haith and Sierra Dudley got a rest, being replaced by Morgan Isenberg and Marina Crownover.
