Mizzou Volleyball came out with renewed energy after dropping the third set of their match against Lindenwood to defeat the Lions 3-1 (25-17, 25-16, 22-25, 25-13) and unofficially claim the Mizzou Invitational tournament title.
The Tigers started slow in the first set, trailing 5-1 after two early attack errors and a service error. The team bounced back with a 4-0 run, tying the set at five, but Lindenwood immediately responded with a 5-1 run to move ahead 10-6.
The Lions contained Mizzou’s offense in the first half of the set, recording two blocks as the Tigers had four attack errors in the first fifteen points.
