COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri basketball coach Kim Anderson didn’t spend much time this week diagnosing what went wrong during Monday’s historically bad shooting night. In the 62-52 loss to North Carolina Central, the Tigers missed 51 shots. They made just 10 of 38 attempts in the lane or at the rim. It was the team’s worst shooting percentage in a home game since Mizzou Arena opened 12 years ago.
When Anderson and his coaches analyzed the game film, they discovered what Anderson suspected Monday night: The Tigers were missing point-blank shots within the structure of the offense.
