COLUMBIA, Mo. — As the only senior on the Missouri basketball team, Reed Nikko has experienced his share of losses the last four seasons. Saturday at West Virginia was more of the same. But with time running out on his college career, MU’s starting center hopes his team hasn’t lost its memory.
The Tigers, under .500 for the first time all season (9-10), have managed two impressive wins this season, over Illinois and Florida — three if you count a victory at Temple.
Rather than blow off those wins as anomalies, Reed wants to see the team that won those games resurface.
