COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri football will face Iowa in the Music City Bowl.
The Tigers (9-3, 5-3 Southeastern Conference), placed at No. 19 in the final College Football Playoff rankings of the season, will duel with the Hawkeyes (8-4, 5-3 Big Ten) at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30 in Nashville, Tennessee.
It's a matchup that was supposed to take place in the same game in 2020 but was canceled due to a COVID-19 breakout.
“It’s an honor to be selected to participate in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl," MU coach Eli Drinkwitz said in a statement.
