COLUMBIA, MO. • Former McCluer North All-Metro wide receiver and Mizzou signee Harry Ballard has enrolled at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Miss., he confirmed Thursday. Ballard signed with Mizzou in April but didn’t qualify academically. At Jones County, he’ll have to earn his associates degree before he can enroll at MU.
Ballard, the No. 3 player in the Post-Dispatch Super 30 for the 2016 recruiting class, did not sign with a college program on national signing day in February but soon after received a scholarship offer from the Tigers.
Ballard was unavailable for further comment.
