Mizzou takes road show to Alabama

COLUMBIA, MO. • Missouri played one of its best halves of the new year Saturday at Arkansas. Unfortunately for the Tigers, it came after one of their worst. Down 14 at halftime Saturday at Bud Walton Arena, Mizzou shot 52.2 percent in the second half but never got the score within single digits. MU coach Kim Anderson took some consolation in the improved shooting — the Tigers shot 29.4 percent in the first half — but not much after the 92-73 loss.

“I would hope we gained some confidence, but I’m not really into moral victories,” Anderson said on Monday’s SEC teleconference.
