COLUMBIA, MO. • Along the offensive line Missouri loses two three-year starting stalwarts in right tackle Paul Adams and left guard Kevin Pendleton. They were regulars in the lineup since 2016 — and in the postgame media room as two of the team’s most outspoken figures, always with their finger on the pulse of the locker room.
Adams started every game each of the last three years and was a two-time team captain. Pendleton fought off some injuries but started 36 of 38 games the last three years. The Tigers also have to replace jack-of-all-trades lineman Sam Bailey, a former starting center who started twice last year at left guard in place of Pendleton and also played tight end as a senior.
