Missouri’s softball team will wait to see if it can face former player Paige Lowary and Oklahoma for a trip to the NCAA super regionals.
The Tigers' NCAA Tournament elimination game against Tulsa was suspended because of inclement weather in the fourth inning Saturday night. The game is tied at 5-5 and will resume at noon Sunday. If the Tigers win, they would face regional host Oklahoma, needing to win twice to advance to the best-of-three super regional round.
Earlier Saturday, Mizzou stayed alive by beating Boston University 10-8. Third baseman Amanda Sanchez hit a first-inning grand slam and Danielle Baumgartner threw 3 1/3 innings in relief, allowing just one hit.
