Mizzou Softball in 2024 has been just about what we expect this program to be — a top-tier force in one of the country’s powerhouse conferences. And they couldn’t have done it without the magnificent group of seniors that the team and fans celebrated on Sunday night.
Behind the collective efforts of Jenna Laird, Maddie Gallagher, Alex Honnold and many other non-seniors, the Tigers won their 37th game of the season and secured the victory for the final regular season series they’ll play at home this year.
On Senior Day, senior shortstop Jenna Laird set the pace offensively for the Tigers, finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
