The second verse is not always just like the first.
Facing off against Keagan Rothrock for the second time in three days, Missouri softball faced a right-hander that looked much more like the pitcher who took two of three from LSU last week than the one who struggled with control at times Friday night.
Rothrock (18-6) notched her 15th complete game of the season, allowing just one unearned run across seven one-hit innings to go along with three strikeouts. The effort prevented Missouri from recording its first-ever series sweep of Florida in a 3-1 loss.
