COLUMBIA, Mo. — For several months last year, Mizzou Stadium served as a drive-thru COVID testing site, attracting long lines of cars that snaked through the parking lot outside the otherwise desolate softball facility, the Tigers’ season long-since shuttered because of the pandemic.
A year later, a different crowd returned. In a scene school officials surely hope returns this fall for football season, Missouri softball fans flocked to Mizzou Stadium over six May days for NCAA postseason action.
