While it may have been “Pups on the Pitch” night at Audrey J. Walton, the Mizzou offense sure wasn’t doggin’ it this time around. The Tigers (2-3-1) blew out SEMO (0-4) 5-0, recording their first win since the season opener.
The Tigers did the vast majority of their damage in the first half, scoring four goals across the first 30 minutes of action.
The scoring started with a streak snapper from Kylee Simmons in the 12th minute, scoring her first goal of the season. Simmons headed a pass from Leah Selm after sneaking past the defense, flying into the net after pushing the ball past the keeper.
